The kidneys are just as important to the health of your animal companion as they are for humans. Pets can be exposed to the same environmental and biological toxins as humans, and they may benefit from a gentle cleanse of the kidneys. The kidneys are sophisticated reprocessing machines that filter waste products, excess salt, and water out of the blood and pass these out of the body as urine. The kidneys also make hormones that control blood pressure, as well as maintain bone metabolism and the production of red blood cells. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) use herbs that are known to support the kidneys: Uva Ursi, Schisandra fruit, Three-Leaved Caper, Corn Silk, Horsetail and Christina Loosestrife herb. These herbs are in our formulation.
