Free radicals can play a major role in accelerating the aging process. Free radical activity results from typical environmental factors such as pollution and ozone, and internal factors such as normal metabolic processes. NOW® Antioxidant Skin Protection contains fat-soluble antioxidants such as vitamins A and E that are naturally present in the skin and help to protect against free radical activity arising from both internal and external sources.
